Q: What makes Centipid different from the rest?
A: You will receive personalized attention from people with International background and experience. We are an independent consulting company and we have direct relationships with domestic and international freight forwarders, carriers and steam-ship lines.

Q: Does Centipid hold any contracts or volume discounts with any carriers?
A: Centipid does not receive any financial endorsement from any transportation carrier or freight forwarder as reward for business. Centipid is non-partial and will find the right transportation partner and program for you, based on your needs and requirements.

Q: How does Centipid select carriers?
A: Carriers are chosen based on the individual needs of each customer. In other words, we are a "transportation matchmaker".

Q: Does Centipid own or operate any equipment?
A: Centipid works strictly on a consulting basis and does not own or operate any equipment.

Q: How can Centipid save my company money?
A: Centipid offers a transportation savings program plus a number of other services all directed to improve your transportation program and ultimately cut down your company's transportation related costs. While savings are the main objective, carriers are duly reviewed to ensure they meet the adequate service and security standards, required by our customer.

Q: How does Centipid receive payment?
A: There are two ways: Customers participating in the "Transportation Savings Program" Centipid will be charged a percentage of their actual savings, and Centipid will only receive payment if you cut your cost. For other services they will charge a fee based on either hours worked, or by type of project.

Q: How soon will my company realize savings when we join the freight savings program?
A: Approximately 60 days from the signing of the agreement, once operating procedures are set up and pricing structure is negotiated.

Q: How long does the freight savings program last?
A: The program runs 12 months from start of implementation.

Q: What happens after the freight savings program ends?
A: Centipid offers a maintenance program to our customers that includes, but is not limited to, pre-auditing invoices, assisting customers with the renegotiation of contracts with suppliers and providing services pertaining to aspects of domestic and international transportation.

Q: How does the pre-audit in the freight savings program work?
A: Once the freight savings program is set up, the customer's invoices will be sent to Centipid's office for processing. We will then review the invoices to ensure there are no discrepancies. If the invoices reveal a discrepancy, Centipid will work on your behalf to recover the amount in question.
